It is a time of great awakening and a time of great change. We feel it everywhere in our culture. Things are breaking down, and making way for new structures to be created. This is a highly creative state, but one that quite frankly scares, imbalances and freaks people out. We tend to cling to old ideas, structures, looking for safety and the known. We do not deal with transitions or change easily. But adapt and allow we must, otherwise we interfere with our own growth, and energetically stifle our own potential, creativity and growth.
This work —emotional detox—is one that I am deeply passionate about. Not only has it been intrinsic to my own path, but as I grow and change, I see the great potential for creative growth both personally and culturally. We MUST learn to LET GO, release things that we have outgrown or are not working for us, and move into the state of unknown—the field of pure potential. In its best form, this is a fire path, a warriors path, a heroes journey, an alchemical transmutation. to allow the discomfort to remake us into our new forms is not easy.
I know this work so deeply, as my own life has been tumultuous and difficult. My growth has been hard won, fraught with fear, and messy. But the gains I have made spiritually, energetically and consciously has been well worth all of the pain.
How does one do it? By staying grounded, breathing, meditating, staying as much in an embodied state. But it is hard as frequencies change, pressures build, throwing most people’s physical bodies into chaos and imbalance. Then, we reach for comfort anywhere we can find it. We grasp for the old, reach for addictions, borrow others nervous systems to help regulate (if we can find someone grounded enough), find distractions, anything but staying in the field of unknowing.
What are some of the ways you cope with uncertainty and chaos? What are some new ways you can learn to move towards acceptance and into that field of potential? Reach out if you need guidance and help on your path. I’m here and its what I do best. 🙂
